Un tournant pour Shelly Bay

Peter Jackson et Fran Walsh ont achete Shelly Bay, enterrant defintiivement le projet de mega-developpement porte par Ian Cassel depuis 10 ans, contre vents et marees. Le soulagement general est palpable et parfois, tres visible.

Encore une reunion sur Shelly Bay

Apres pas mal de revers juridiques, il est difficile de voir comment l'immonde projet immobilier peut encore derailler. Mais certains continuent de se battre et on organise une reunion a laquelle plus d'une centaine de personnes ont participe.

This morning, the City Council will vote on the Spatial Plan, and it will be very interesting to listen to the debates and find out about the outcome. Surprisingly, or maybe not so much, this vote reminds me of this article I wrote about Shelly Bay last year, one week after the vote. This article didn’t make it online because it was too close to so many comments and articles that had already been published. I can’t help to publish it today, in the light of the vote on the Spatial Plan.
