Bilan du gouvernement National

Cela fait un peu plus de deux ans que le Parti National est revenu au pouvoir, et en aussi peu de temps, le paysage économique et social de Wellington a été profondément bouleversé. J’observe ces changements non pas comme un analyste extérieur, mais comme un habitant de cette ville, un parent, un travailleur, directement touché par les décisions brutales de ce gouvernement. Tout s’est inversé : le rapport de force entre employeurs et employés, le coût de la vie, l’accès aux opportunités, jusqu’à l’atmosphère dans les rues et les bureaux. En repensant à ces deux années, je ne peux m’empêcher de mesurer à quel point une politique peut transformer — et abîmer — le quotidien des gens.
