Before New Zealand, I've worked in hospitality in quite a few countries: France, of course, Switzerland and in the UK. To give you names that will ring a bell, I have been working with Martin Bosley when I land in Wellingon. Later, I open and ran La Cloche for a while. Now I cook and run Mon Ami, a project Ben and I have been working on together, and where we hope you'll spend a good moment.
As you may know, we try to put the essence of the outdoors in the cafe. This is a passion I share with Ben. Each time an opportunity arises, I have worn my boots and hit the trail. In the past, I have climbed summits in Europe (in France and in Spain), I have tramped Iceland, the Reunion island. One of the tramp I am quite proud of is the GR10 which goes across the all Pyrenean mountains chain, in southern France.
In New Zealand, I have travelled the Tongariro National Park, but a big challenge I’m looking forward to tackle is … the Dusky Track, in Fjordland.
